2-3 pieces of saltfish or salted codfish (bone-in or boneless)
1/2 green bell pepper, sliced up
1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced up
1 plum tomato, cut up
1/4 onion, sliced up
1 stalk of scallion (optional)
1/4 hot pepper (optional)
black pepper to taste
