1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1-2 pinch asafoetida
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 lemon
1/4 tsp red chili powder
3/4 tsp salt (add to taste)
1/2 inch ginger (finely chopped)
2 green chilies (finely chopped)

Boil moong dal in a pressure cooker with less than half water and red chili powder.
