In a mixing bowl, cream together salted butter and icing sugar until fluffy.
Squeeze out the juice from a mandarin orange.
Add orange extract and an egg yolk, mixing until well combined.
Stir in plain flour and knead until it turns into a dough.
Portion out about 20 grams of dough into a separate bowl.
Stir in about half a tablespoon of softened butter and some pandan paste, then transfer into a piping bag and set aside.
Dye the remaining dough with orange food coloring and knead until the color is even.
Preheat the Rowenta oven to 150 degrees Celsius fan force.
Roll the dough into half a tablespoon balls and insert a clove into each ball.
Pipe the green paste prepared earlier to mimic leaves on the oranges.
Bake in the oven for about 30-35 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius.
Let cool completely before transferring to a container.
