1

Season 1 kilogram of beef steaks with 3 minced garlic cloves, 1.5 teaspoons of salt, and a generous pinch of black pepper, mixing well until incorporated.

2

In a large saucepan over medium-low heat, add a generous drizzle of olive oil and 3 medium chopped onions. Saute until slightly golden brown.

3

Add 1 medium grated carrot to the onions and saute for another minute.

4

For seasoning, add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 0.5 stalk of leek chopped into round slices. Stir until incorporated.

5

Add 1 kilogram of chopped tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika, and a pinch of black pepper. Stir and let cook until the tomato cubes begin to wilt.

6

Once wilted, add a can of 400 grams of peeled tomatoes and 240 milliliters of water. Stir and let cook for another 10 minutes.

7

Turn off the heat and add parsley and chives to taste, along with 6 leaves of fresh basil. Mix and set aside.

8

Prepare the steak breading by pouring 3 beaten eggs into one dish, 1 cup of wheat flour into a second dish, and 1 cup of bread crumbs into a third dish. Season each dish with a pinch of black pepper, sweet paprika, and salt, mixing until combined.

9

Coat the seasoned steaks in the wheat flour, dip them in the eggs, and then coat them in the breadcrumbs. Repeat this process with all the meat.

10

In a skillet over medium heat, add hot oil and fry the breaded steaks until golden brown. Remove from oil and soak up excess fat on a plate lined with paper towels.

11

To assemble the parmigiana, pour 2 scoops of the sauce into a medium oven-proof dish and spread it over the bottom.

12

Add the fried steaks and cover them with the remaining tomato sauce.

13

Top with 200 grams of grated mozzarella cheese and 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese.

14

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake for 20 minutes, keeping an eye on it as baking time may vary depending on the oven's power.
