1

Take a beautiful steak and place it in a bowl.

2

Cover the steak with dark roasted coffee beans and set it in the fridge for 24 hours.

3

After 24 hours, observe that the steak has a darker red color and is firmer.

4

Fire up the two left burners of the flat top griddle to the highest position.

5

Drizzle a little bit of olive oil on the griddle.

6

Chop one garlic clove finely and dice one onion.

7

Add the diced onion to the griddle and then add the garlic once the onion starts to soften.

8

Add 50 grams of tomato paste and mix it in, allowing it to fry and sweeten up.

9

Add a can of tomato pulp and let it cook until the tomatoes become sweet, around five minutes.

10

Add two shots of espresso to the sauce mixture.

11

Follow with a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, four tablespoons of sugar, a tablespoon of salt, and a teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper.

12

Cook the sauce until it transforms from a dark red tomato color into a brown barbecue sauce.

13

Add a bit of oil to the griddle and place the steak on it once the oil is hot.

14

Press down on the steak to maximize contact with the cooking surface.

15

After about two minutes, check the steak for a beautiful crust.

16

Flip the steak and check for doneness, ensuring a good crust is formed.

17

Remove the steak from the griddle and let it rest.

18

While resting, season the steak with finishing salt.

19

Slice the steak using a carving knife and top it off with the prepared steak sauce.
