Methi - 1 bunch (cleaned, washed and chopped)
American Sweet corn kernels - 1 cup
Onions - 2 medium sized chopped
Tomato - 1 chopped
Salt to taste
Oil - 1 tbsp
Haldi (turmeric powder) - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Jaggery - 1 tsp (grated) (optional)

Take approximately 1 tbsp cooking oil in a kadai or pan. Add chopped onions and fry till onions turn translucent.

Add tomato and cook till it becomes soft.

Now add cleaned, washed and chopped fresh methi leaves. Fry it for a minute.

Add American sweet corn kernels and pour some water. Mix it.

Cover it with the lid and cook till methi leaves are cooked well. This will take approximately 4 to 5 minutes.

Now add haldi, red chilli powder and salt. Mix all.

Adding jaggery is optional.

Cook on high flame till water dries out.
