Start by boiling water in a large pot.
Add hot links sausages and smoked ham hock to the boiling water.
Let the meat boil for about 30 minutes until it starts to cook through.
After 30 minutes, add frozen peas to the pot with the meat.
Add butters organic all-purpose seasoning, seasoned pepper, salt, garlic pepper, and garlic powder to the peas and meat mixture.
Increase the heat slightly to bring the mixture to a boil and let it cook for another hour to an hour and fifteen minutes, stirring occasionally.
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil for the grits.
Add a whole stick of butter and a little salt to the boiling water.
Pour in a couple of tablespoons of evaporated milk for creaminess.
Add half a bag of grits to the boiling water, stirring continuously until they thicken.
Let the grits cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Check the consistency of the grits; they should be thick and creamy when done.
