This marinade combines savory and sweet elements that complement the beef beautifully, making it a go-to for weeknight dinners or special occasions. Today, flank steak is embraced in various culinary traditions, showcasing its adaptability in dishes from tacos to stir-fries.

Start by preparing a gallon size bag or a bowl for mixing the marinade.
Add 1/4 cup of avocado oil to the bag or bowl.
Pour in 1/4 cup of Liquid Aminos for a gluten-free soy sauce alternative.
Add 2/3 cup of balsamic vinegar to the mixture.
Swish the marinade around to mix the ingredients evenly.
Add the steaks (sirloin) into the marinade bag.
Seal the bag, leaving some air inside to help the marinade mix around.
Optionally, add fresh cracked pepper or garlic to the marinade.
Marinate the steaks in the fridge for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
Alternatively, freeze the steaks with the marinade for later use.
Before grilling, let the marinated steaks sit at room temperature for 15 to 20 minutes.
Preheat the grill to high heat.
Place the steaks on the grill and cook until a nice crust forms, then flip them once browned.
Turn the grill down to low heat and cover to finish cooking the steaks.
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature, aiming for 130°F for medium rare or 145°F for medium.
Remove the steaks from the grill when they reach the desired temperature, as they will continue cooking after being taken off.
