Sift together 15 ounces of yellow cake mix and 2 teaspoons of pumpkin spice in a big bowl.

Add 1/4 cup of canola oil and 1 egg to the sifted mixture.

Add 15 ounces of pure pumpkin and mix everything together until combined.

Add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and mix them into the dough.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Use a cookie scooper to form dough balls and place them on the cookie sheet.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
