Put the soaked peas in a clean pot with water.

Add fresh clove, allspice balls, chicken seasoning, and homemade green seasoning to the pot.

Add salt to taste and ensure peas are not too soft or hard.

Add washed jasmine rice to the pot and mix.

Add a little water, ensuring the rice is not overwhelmed by liquid.

Cover the pot with foil to lock in steam and cook on medium low for about 30 minutes.

Check the rice after 30 minutes and add a tad bit more water if needed, then cover for another 15 minutes.
