1

Dry roast almonds in a thick-bottom pan or cast iron pan over low to medium flame for 2-3 minutes until slightly golden.

2

Add pumpkin seeds to the pan and roast for another 2-3 minutes.

3

Add sesame seeds and roast for a little longer, then add dried coconut flakes and roast until golden and aromatic.

4

Turn off the heat and let all the seeds and nuts cool completely.

5

Once cooled, grind the mixture in a grinder using the pulse option until it is not a fine powder.

6

Add the dates to the grinder along with a little of the nut and seed mixture to improve texture and grind into a sticky paste.

7

Transfer the dry mixture and date paste into a mixing bowl.

8

Add 2 tablespoons of peanut butter and 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder to the bowl and mix thoroughly using hands and a spatula to form a firm dough.

9

Optionally, add 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips if desired for extra indulgence.

10

Divide the dough into small bites and shape them into balls or press into silicone molds.

11

Refrigerate the bites for a while to set, they will set quickly and can be easily removed from the molds.
