Instructions

  1. 1Peel and grate the potatoes, then rinse them in cold water to remove excess starch.
  2. 2In a large pan, heat the ghee over medium heat until melted.
  3. 3Add the grated potatoes to the pan and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are slightly cooked but not browned.
  4. 4Stir in the sugar and mix well until it dissolves completely.
  5. 5Add the cardamom powder, salt, and saffron strands (if using) to the mixture and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
