1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 sprigs fresh rosemary (or 1 teaspoon dried)
2 tablespoons butter

Start with a nice dry piece of filet mignon.

Season the meat with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Place the filet mignon in a 12-inch cast iron skillet.
