1/2 tsp urad dal

To a heated cooker pan, add 2 medium size raw mango.

Pour 1 glass of water into the pan.

Allow the mango to cook for 2 minutes.

Remove the mango peel and its seed after cooking.

Squeeze the pulp from the mango peel using 1/2 glass of water.

Switch on the flame and add 2 cups of jaggery to the pan.

Add 1 tbsp of dry red chili powder and salt to taste, then stir well.

Cook for 6 to 7 minutes until you get a jam consistency.

For seasoning, pour 2 tsp of cooking oil into a separate pan.

Add 3/4 tsp of mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp of urad dal, some curry leaves, and 2 chopped dry red chilies to the oil.

Add 3-4 pinches of asafoetida powder to the seasoning.

Add this seasoning to the mango curry mixture.
