1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon turmeric
2 to 3 tablespoons oil
1 heaped tablespoon coconut oil
1 cup onion
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
fresh chili (to taste)
2 cups fresh tomatoes
1 cup water
200 ml coconut milk
pinches of garam masala powder
fresh mint (instead of cilantro)

Cut the whole chicken into about eight pieces and place in a bowl.

Add 1 teaspoon each of salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and turmeric to the chicken.

Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil to the chicken and mix well.

In a pan, heat 1 heaped tablespoon of coconut oil over slightly above medium heat.

Reintroduce the chicken to the sauce and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
