Deliciosas Sopaipillas Preparadas Con Harina Normal Muy Ricas

Heat 3 cups of water in a pot.

Add 1 piece of piloncillo and 1 cinnamon stick to the water and let it dissolve.

In a bowl, combine 1 kilogram of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

Add 1.5 sticks of unsalted butter (approximately 170 grams) to the flour mixture.

Pour in 0.5 cups of cream for coffee (hazelnut flavor) into the flour mixture.

Mix all the ingredients together until well incorporated.

Once the piloncillo has dissolved, strain it to remove the cinnamon stick and let it cool slightly.

Gradually add the piloncillo syrup to the flour mixture while kneading the dough.

Knead the dough until smooth and let it rest for 5 minutes in a plastic bag.

Prepare a frying pan with oil for frying the sopaipillas.

Shape the dough into small balls and flatten them slightly.

Make small cuts with a knife on the top of each sopaipilla to prevent them from puffing up too much while frying.

Check if the oil is hot enough and start frying the sopaipillas in batches.

Fry until golden brown and then remove them from the oil.

Sprinkle sugar with cinnamon on top of the sopaipillas while they are still warm.
