1 large onion
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1 green chili
2 cups water

Wash and peel the beetroot, then cut into small cubes.
