- 4Combine ground pork, chopped cabbage, green onions, minced ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- 5Roll out the rested dough into a thin sheet and cut into circles.
- 6Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each dough circle.
- 7Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape and pinch to seal.
- 8Prepare a steamer basket lined with parchment paper or cabbage leaves.
- 9Steam the dumplings over boiling water for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- 10For pan-fried dumplings, heat oil in a skillet, add dumplings, and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

- ●1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- ●1/4 cup olive oil
- ●1 lemon, juiced
- ●1 tsp salt
- ●1/2 tsp black pepper
- ●1/2 tsp cinnamon
- ●2 cups vegetable broth or water
Instructions
- 1Rinse the grape leaves in cold water and set aside to drain.
- 2In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- 3If using meat, add the ground lamb or beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- 4Stir in the rice, parsley, dill, salt, pepper, and cinnamon. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
- 5Add 1 cup of vegetable broth or water to the mixture and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes until the rice is partially cooked. Remove from heat and let cool.
- 6Lay a grape leaf flat on a clean surface, stem side facing you. Place about 1 tablespoon of the filling at the base of the leaf.
- 7Fold the sides of the leaf over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the base to the tip. Repeat with remaining leaves and filling.
- 8In a large pot, arrange the rolled dolmas seam side down. Drizzle with remaining olive oil and lemon juice, and add the remaining vegetable broth or water until the rolls are just covered.
- 9Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, until the rice is fully cooked and the leaves are tender.
- 10Let the dolmas cool slightly before serving. They can be served warm or at room temperature.
