4 fresh tomatoes
1 can of canned tomatoes
3 red bell peppers
1 scotch bonnet
1 red onion
1 tube tomato purie (200 grams)
1 chopped onion

0.5 tablespoon white pepper
1 teaspoon curry powder
bay leaves
0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
0.5 teaspoon ground crayfish
chicken bouillon cubes

Put on aprons and prepare to cook.

Measure and add 5 mugs of golden cella basmati rice into a bowl.

If using cup measurements, use 7 cups of rice instead.

Prepare the tomato pepper base with 4 fresh tomatoes, 3 red bell peppers, 1 scotch bonnet, and 1 red onion.

Blend the tomato pepper base until smooth.

Heat sunflower oil in a stainless steel pot until hot.

Add 1 chopped onion and sauté.

Add 1 tablespoon dried thyme, 0.5 tablespoon white pepper, 1 teaspoon curry powder, and a couple of bay leaves; fry for about 5 minutes.

Add 1 tube of tomato purie and stir until well combined; fry for about 7 minutes.

Add the blended pepper mixture to the pot and stir well.

Season with chicken bouillon cubes, all-purpose seasoning, and salt; optionally add meat stock.

Cover the pot and let it cook until the sauce is ready.

Wash the rice until the water runs clear using hot water.

Once the sauce is thickened, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

Add the washed rice to the sauce and stir to combine.

Add just enough water to cover the rice, then cover the pot.

Lower the heat to low-medium and cook for 20 minutes, then stir and cook for another 20 minutes.
