Cover the dough with a damp cloth; let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch down the dough and divide into small balls.
Flatten each ball into a disc, then make a small hole in the center to form a ring.
Heat oil for frying in a deep pan over medium heat until shimmering.
Fry each donut until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove donuts and drain on paper towels; sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
