1

Combine 600 grams of flour with 1 cup of normal flour in a mixing bowl.

2

Add 1 cup of lukewarm water, 1 cup of lukewarm milk, 1 tablespoon of salt, and 2-3 tablespoons of oil to the flour mixture.

3

Mix the ingredients well until the mixture is ready.

4

Gradually add water to the flour and start kneading the dough gently, ensuring it remains soft and not too stiff.

5

If you have a dough kneading machine, you can use it to knead the dough.

6

Cover the kneaded dough and let it rest for about 1 hour.

7

After an hour, check the dough; it should be soft and not sticky to the hands.

8

Divide the dough into small balls, keeping in mind the size of your tawa or tandoor.

9

Dip each ball in oil, then in flour, and stack two balls on top of each other, pressing the edges together gently.

10

Roll out the stacked dough into a thin circle, ensuring it's large enough for your tawa.

11

Preheat the tandoor and place the rolled roti on top of it, not inside it.

12

Cook the roti on both sides until done; if one side is slightly undercooked, you can cook it for an additional minute.

13

Once cooked, keep the roti wrapped in a cloth to keep it warm.
