1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tbsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin powder
lemon juice

Cut the tail and stomach part of the pomfret and clean it well from inside.

Make a cut at the mouth and remove the dirt inside the stomach.

Cut the pomfret at the marked side near the stomach.

Wash the pomfret thoroughly from inside and outside.

Prepare the marinade by mixing ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cumin powder, salt, lemon juice, and a little water to make a thick paste.

Spread the marinade on the pomfret, rubbing it inside and out, and let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.

Blend shredded coconut, coriander leaves, garlic cloves, chopped ginger, green chili, and a little water into a thick paste for stuffing.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add the stuffing, and fry for about 1 minute.

Add red chili powder and salt to the stuffing, and fry for 2 more minutes.

Let the stuffing cool down, then fill it into the marinated pomfret.

Heat oil in a pan until hot, then drop the stuffed pomfret into the oil.

Fry the fish on medium heat for about 5-6 minutes on one side without touching it.

Flip the fish over and fry for another 4-5 minutes until crispy and cooked through.

Remove the fish from the oil and place it on tissue paper to absorb excess oil.
