0.5 cups sugar
0.5 teaspoons saffron
0.5 teaspoons green cardamom powder
ghee (amount unspecified)
dry fruits (cashews, almonds, walnuts, optional pistachios)
1

Heat a heavy-bottomed pan and add 1.5 cups of wheat flour.

2

Roast the flour on medium flame until it turns light brown and gives a nice aroma.

3

Sift the roasted flour to lighten it.

4

In another pan, combine 1 cup of water and 0.5 cups of sugar, and heat on high until the sugar dissolves.

5

Add 0.5 teaspoons of saffron and 0.5 teaspoons of green cardamom powder to the sugar water.

6

Melt some ghee and add it to the mixture, stirring to combine.

7

Transfer the syrup back to the pan with the roasted flour on medium flame.

8

Gradually add the syrup to the flour while stirring continuously to avoid making it too wet.
