1

Preheat the oven to 450°F.

2

Cut the ribs into sections, about two ribs per section.

3

Lightly salt the ribs on both sides and place them meaty side up in a shallow roasting pan.

4

Bake the ribs uncovered for 30 minutes.

5

Slice the lemon and onion into thin slices and set aside.

6

Prepare the basting sauce by mixing 1.5 cups of water, 1 cup of ketchup, 1/3 cup of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, and a little sriracha in a saucepan.

7

Bring the sauce to a boil, then set aside.

8

After 30 minutes, remove the ribs from the oven and lower the temperature to 350°F.

9

Drain excess fat from the ribs using paper towels.

10

Top each rib section with lemon and onion slices, then pour some basting sauce over them.

11

Return the ribs to the oven for 1.5 hours, basting every 15 minutes with the reserved sauce.

12

After 1.5 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
