Walnuts Baklava

In a small pot mix water and sugar and over low medium heat. Keep stirring until the mixture starts boiling. Then lower the heat and add lemon juice.

Let the mixture boil slowly over low heat for about 8-12 minutes.

The bubble will be a few in the beginning then will start to increase. That means the syrup is ready.

Remove from the heat and add rose water or orange blossom water.

Set aside to cool down and thicken. Pour into a clean and dry glass jar with a tight lid.

Keep outside or in the fridge for longer-life storage.
