Soak 1 cup of cracked wheat in water for about 30 minutes until it softens.
In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
Add 1 chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until translucent.
Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
Season the beef with 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of allspice, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir well to combine.
Add 1/4 cup of pine nuts and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they are lightly toasted.
Remove the mixture from heat and stir in 1/4 cup of chopped parsley and 1/4 cup of chopped mint.
Drain the soaked cracked wheat and mix it with the beef mixture. Add 1/4 cup of water to help bind the mixture together.
Shape the mixture into small patties or discs.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place the patties on a baking sheet and bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
