Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer; cover and cook for 1-1.5 hours until beef is tender.
Remove beef and set aside; strain the broth and return it to the pot.
Add rinsed basmati rice to the pot with the strained broth and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 15-20 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
Fluff rice with a fork and return the beef to the pot, mixing gently.
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
