Beef Ragu

Prep all veggies by dicing them small and uniform for even cooking.

Smash garlic to easily peel off the skin and chop it up to add with the veggies.

Cut 3 Certified Angus Beef bottom round steaks into equal size cubes and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Sear the beef in batches in the Instant Pot with a little olive oil until browned on all sides, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot.

Remove the seared beef from the pot and set aside.

Switch the Instant Pot to the sauté method and add the mixed vegetables and garlic, cooking until softened.

Add dried herbs to the veggies and continue to sauté.

Deglaze the pot with red wine, scraping up the brown bits from the bottom.

Add canned tomatoes and the seared beef back into the pot, ensuring the beef is covered in sauce.

Put the lid on the Instant Pot, switch to pressure cook, and set the timer for 45 minutes.

After cooking, shred the beef and add 4 cups of uncooked pasta, ensuring it's submerged in the liquid.

Pressure cook for an additional 3 minutes, then turn off the Instant Pot and allow it to naturally depressurize for 4 minutes.
