Turn on the stove and add 1-2 teaspoons of oil to a pan.
Once the oil is hot, add 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seeds and fry until fragrant.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste and fry for a bit.
Add 2 tablespoons of chopped onion and 2 tablespoons of chopped carrot; sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add 2 tablespoons of chopped tomato and cook until the tomato softens.
Add a few curry leaves and sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
Pour in 400-500 ml of water and season with salt to taste.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of freshly crushed black pepper and stir.
Let it boil until it starts to cook.
Meanwhile, prepare the jowar by grinding 1/2 cup of jowar into a fine flour using a mixer.
Mix 1.5 to 2 teaspoons of the jowar flour with 1/2 cup of water until smooth, avoiding lumps.
Once the soup is boiling, add the jowar mixture and stir well.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking.
Adjust the consistency by adding more water if it feels too thick.
Turn off the stove and add 1-2 teaspoons of lemon juice and some fresh coriander leaves before serving.
