Cut 200 grams of daikon into matchsticks.

Peel and cut 200 grams of carrot into matchsticks.

In a mixing bowl, combine daikon and carrot with 3 tablespoons of sugar, 3 tablespoons of vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Massage the mixture.

Place the mixture in an airtight container or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about one hour.
