Soak 2 cups of flocão de milho in 1 can of coconut milk for 10 minutes to soften it.
Add 1 cup of milk to the flocão and mix well, letting it hydrate for another 10 minutes.
Transfer the hydrated mixture to a blender.
Add 1/2 cup of melted margarine (or butter or oil), 5 room temperature eggs, 1 box of cream, and 2 cups of refined sugar to the blender.
Blend on high speed for 3 minutes.
Add 1 can of corn (or 1 cup of corn) and 100 g of coconut flakes to the blender, blending for 30 seconds to mix without fully breaking them down.
Measure 1 tablespoon of baking powder and add it to the mixture, giving it a quick stir.
Transfer the batter to a greased baking pan dusted with flour.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
Check doneness with a toothpick; it may come out slightly dirty due to the creamy texture of the cake.
