Revani is a traditional Turkish semolina cake, often enjoyed during festive occasions and family gatherings. Its origins can be traced back to the Ottoman Empire, where it was a popular dessert among the sultans. The cake is soaked in a sweet syrup, giving it a moist texture and a delightful flavor. Today, Revani is cherished not only in Turkey but also in various Middle Eastern and Balkan cuisines, each with its unique twist.

Mix flour, baking powder, and salt and keep aside.
Whisk eggs, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add yogurt and lemon juice, mix until combined.
Gradually add the oil, then add the flour mix and semolina. Mix until combined.
Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
Preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes. Bake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes.
For the syrup, mix sugar, water, and lemon juice, cook until it reaches a boil, then let it simmer for 5 minutes and cool.
