Salmon Burger

4 hamburger buns
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed
2 tablespoons avocado oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise (Kewpie)
1 teaspoon wasabi

Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium heat.

Finely chop the salmon fillet and place it in a mixing bowl.

Add avocado oil, salt, pepper, cilantro, and mayonnaise to the bowl with the salmon.

Mix all the ingredients until well combined, being careful not to overmix.

Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.

If grilling, lightly oil the grill grates. If using a skillet, add a little oil to the pan.

Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden crust.
