Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Prepare filling by grinding walnuts and mixing with honey, cinnamon, and lemon zest.
Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
Spread the walnut filling evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle raisins over the filling if desired.
Roll the dough tightly into a log, sealing the edges.
Place the log in a greased loaf pan, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake the potica until golden brown, about 40-50 minutes.
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
