Start by heating 1/2 cup of whole milk in a saucepan until it simmers, then let it cool down.
Melt 1 cup (2 sticks) of margarine in the same saucepan with the milk.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup of warm water, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast to proof.
Once the yeast is foamy, mix it with the cooled milk and melted margarine.
Add 3 egg yolks to the liquid mixture and stir.
In another bowl, combine 405 grams (3 cups) of flour, 5 tablespoons of sugar, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Sift the flour mixture into the liquid mixture gradually, mixing until a sticky dough forms.
Refrigerate the dough overnight.
The next day, prepare the nut filling by grinding walnuts in a food processor until finely ground.
Melt 1/4 cup of whole milk and 1 stick of unsalted butter in the microwave for the filling.
Combine the ground walnuts with the melted mixture and any additional ingredients as desired.
