Soak pitted dates in hot water to soften them up.
Drain the dates and place them in a high-speed blender.
Add coconut aminos, rice vinegar, bone broth, and sesame oil to the blender.
Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and arrowroot starch to the blender.
Blend the mixture until smooth and set the stir fry sauce aside.
Using a chef’s knife, cut off the broccoli head where the stems meet the larger stalk.
Break the broccoli into florets.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the broccoli florets and stir fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until they're lightly browned in spots.
Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of water over the broccoli, then cover with a lid to steam-cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the broccoli is bright green and crisp-tender.
Set the cooked broccoli aside in a bowl.
Wrap the steak in cling film and freeze for about 30 minutes to make slicing easier.
Thinly slice the beef quickly but carefully.
Wipe the pan clean with a paper towel.
Add in the remaining tablespoon of oil and heat the pan over medium-high heat.
Add the beef in a single layer into the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes, flipping it halfway through.
Stir in the sauce and simmer until thickened, for about 2-3 minutes.
Return the broccoli to the pan and toss it with the sauce and beef.
Continue to cook for 1-2 minutes more, or until everything is heated through.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds and serve.
