- ●1 cup jaggery, grated

Instructions
- 1Grease a flat surface or a tray with ghee to prevent sticking.
- 2In a pan, add the grated jaggery and water. Heat over medium flame until the jaggery dissolves completely, stirring occasionally.
- 3Once the jaggery syrup reaches a soft ball stage (around 115°C or 240°F), remove it from the heat.
- 4Add the sesame seeds and cardamom powder to the jaggery syrup. Mix well until the sesame seeds are evenly coated.
- 5Pour the mixture onto the greased surface or tray and spread it out evenly with a spatula.
- 6Allow the mixture to cool slightly until it is safe to handle, then use your hands to press it down firmly.
- 7Once it has cooled completely, cut it into squares or desired shapes.
- 8Let the chikki cool completely before serving or storing.
