Heat up the water and combine it with the black tea bags and sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar then let it steep for 10 minutes, then put it into the fridge to cool for 15 to 30 minutes.

When you have taken the tea out of the fridge prepare the black pearls. Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add the black pearls. Stir and reduce heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes. Drain them and rinse well with cold water.

Distribute the pearls into 3 tall glasses, then add some of the cooled tea, then top with the creamer. The at-home boba tea is ready to serve.
