Dark chocolate offers a richer flavor while chocolate chips are often less expensive.

Remove the grate from the gas stove and set it aside.

Use a burner on the gas stove to roast marshmallows.

Light the burner to create a flame for roasting marshmallows.

Hold the marshmallow on a skewer over the flame to roast it until toasty.

Be cautious as marshmallows can catch fire quickly if held too close to the flame.

Once the marshmallow is toasted, assemble the s'more by placing the toasted marshmallow on a piece of chocolate on a graham cracker.

Top with another graham cracker to complete the s'more sandwich.

Turn off the burner after making the s'mores.
