Outdoor Education: How to make S'mores!
Recipe Information
S'mores
Set up a fire safely, avoiding branches that could catch fire.
Line the fire pit with rocks or use a pre-existing fire pit.
Never leave the fire unattended and ensure adult supervision.
Take a full graham cracker and snap it in half to create two pieces.
Get a marshmallow to roast over the fire.
Prepare a piece of chocolate, sizing it to fit on one half of the graham cracker.
Insert the marshmallow onto the top of a stick for roasting.
Hold the marshmallow over the fire, rotating it to cook evenly.
Cook the marshmallow to your desired level of crispiness, ensuring it doesn't catch fire.
Once roasted, take the marshmallow out of the fire and prepare to assemble the s'more.
Place the chocolate on one half of the graham cracker.
Add the roasted marshmallow on top of the chocolate.
Top with the other half of the graham cracker to complete the s'more.
Let the s'more cool slightly before enjoying.
