1 medium onion finely chopped
6 garlic cloves chopped

1 tsp roasted cumin powder
1 tsp roasted coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder or to taste
2 medium tomatoes chopped
5 sprigs of cilantro finely chopped
2 cups water
salt to taste
2 tbsp lime or lemon juice or to taste

Stir in the roasted chickpea flour and let it cook for about 2 minutes.

Add chopped tomatoes and cilantro, then gradually add water, mixing to achieve desired consistency.

Add salt and lime juice to taste; allow to come to a boil.
