Hamburger Recipes : How to Fry Juicy Hamburgers in a Cast Iron Skillet

Hamburgers are a quintessential American dish, often enjoyed at barbecues, picnics, and fast-food restaurants.
Scrub the cast iron skillet to remove any rust.
Preheat the oven to the highest temperature possible (500°F in this case).
Place the cast iron skillet in the oven for over a half hour to heat up.
Form the ground beef into a patty, ensuring it's slightly larger than the bun.
Remove the hot cast iron skillet from the oven and place the dry patty directly into the skillet without any oil.
Cook the patty in the oven for about 3 minutes on one side.
Flip the burger and return it to the oven for 1 more minute.
Check that the cheese is starting to melt on the burger after the second minute in the oven.
Let the burger sit for 1 minute to allow the cheese to melt completely and the juices to redistribute.
Assemble the burger with the bun.
