Instructions
- 1Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- 3Form the mixture into small patties, about the size of the slider buns.
- 4Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
- 5During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
- 6Remove the patties from heat and let them rest for a minute.
- 7Slice the slider buns in half and toast lightly on the grill or skillet if desired.
- 8Assemble the sliders by placing a patty on the bottom half of each bun.
- 9Top with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired.
- 10Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.

Instructions
- 1In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and nutmeg.
- 2In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- 3Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- 4Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
- 5Roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thick and cut out donuts using a donut cutter or two round cutters.
- 6Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- 7Carefully place the donuts in the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
- 8Remove the donuts from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- 9Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm.
