HOW TO MAKE HAMBURGERS

Cultural Context
Hamburgers are a quintessential American dish, often enjoyed at barbecues, picnics, and fast-food restaurants.
Start with 250 g of mints and set aside the remaining 250 g for later.
Add 1 egg to the mints.
Pour in 250 ml of milk.
Add about half a cup to 2/3 of a cup of breadcrumbs, adjusting based on desired consistency.
Chop and add 1/2 onion, remembering to rinse it beforehand.
Mix all ingredients together using your hands until well combined.
Add the remaining 250 g of mints and more breadcrumbs as needed to achieve desired consistency.
Form the mixture into patties, roughly the size of a small fist.
Grease the cooking surface and place the patties on it, flattening them to the desired thickness.
Cook the patties on low to medium heat to ensure even cooking.
While the patties are cooking, place the hamburger buns in the oven at 170°C to warm and lightly toast them.
Add cheese to one of the buns while toasting.
Once the buns are toasty and the cheese is melted, assemble the burger by placing the cooked patty on the bun.
Add sauce, followed by tomato and lettuce, then place the top bun on.
