Chicken Makhani

1 lb boneless chicken thighs
1 cup yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp butter
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
1 inch ginger
1 can tomato puree
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup cilantro

Cut chicken thighs into long strips.

In a bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala, cumin, coriander, turmeric, chili powder, and salt.

Mix together and marinate chicken for 1 hour.

Fry the marinated chicken in butter until cooked through.

Chop onion, garlic, and ginger finely.

Add chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until golden brown.

Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook until fragrant.

Pour in tomato puree and mix well, cooking for a few minutes.

Stir in heavy cream and mix until combined.
