  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium heat.
  2. 2Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. 3Place 4 slices of bread, buttered side down, on the grill or skillet.
  4. 4Top each slice with a slice of cheese.
  5. 5Cover with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
  6. 6Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  7. 7Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
