In a bowl, combine 3 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of sugar, a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg.
Add 3 tablespoons of I can't believe it's not butter to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Gradually add 1 cup of fresh milk, but do not add it all at once; leave a little splash for later.
Mix the ingredients until just combined.
Prepare the countertop by adding some flour to knead the dough.
Transfer the dough from the bowl to the floured countertop and bring it together.
If the dough sticks to your hands, add a little more flour as needed, but avoid adding too much to keep the dough soft and pliable.
Shape the dough to fit into the baking pan, using your hands to flatten it down.
Poke holes in the dough with a fork to allow steam to escape while baking.
Place the pan in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) on the middle rack and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes.
