Add authentic British bangers to the pan.

Pour in 1 cup of beer and 1 cup of vegetable broth into the pan with the onions.

Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce it to make onion gravy.

Add a little bit of flour to the gravy, keeping it thinner than American gravy.

Place the bangers into the onion gravy.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Cook the bangers in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Cut up the potatoes for mashing.

Boil water for the potatoes (note: water was not boiling soon enough).

Drain the boiled potatoes.

Mash the potatoes using a masher.
