1 inch ginger

In a pan, add 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water.

Mix well and cook on low-medium heat until the sugar dissolves, about 5 to 8 minutes.

In a blender, add the mint leaves, 1 tablespoon of cumin powder, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 inch of chopped ginger.

Add 1/2 cup of water and blend until smooth.

Check the syrup; it should be sticky but not too thick.

Add the blended mint mixture to the syrup and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes.

Add 1 teaspoon of black salt and 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder to the mixture and cook for 1 to 2 more minutes.

Let the mixture cool down before adding the juice of 4 lemons.

Strain the mixture into a jar using a strainer.
