Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Add milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract to the egg mixture and whisk until smooth.
Sift in flour, cornstarch, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon, and mix until fully incorporated.
Pour the custard mixture into the prepared pie crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-50 minutes, until the custard is set and the top is golden.
Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garnish with lemon zest before slicing.
Serve chilled.
